An opportunity to make a difference to
individuals and families in short term financial
crisis across the Canterbury City Council District.
Canterbury Food Bank CIO (CFB) is a community project
and registered charity providing emergency (three-day)
food parcels to individuals and families in short term
financial crisis across the Canterbury City Council
District (Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and
CFB has been operating since 2012 and currently has 6
Trustees from a variety of backgrounds. The Charity is
looking for additional volunteers to join the Board of
Trustees. CFB is keen to hear from people with skills
in relevant areas including but not limited to,
Finance, HR and IT who are interested in joining this
exciting and rewarding project.
The Trustees meet for about one and a half hours once
each month and a volunteer will need approximately 6
hours each month to devote to CFB Trustee work. The
Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the
Governance of the Charity.
