Volunteers needed for our Canterbury distribution cafe

We are looking for volunteers to join our team at the All Saints distribution cafe in Canterbury on a Tuesday between 9.15 and 11.15. Not necessarily every Tuesday as we operate a rota system. You would welcome clients into the distribution cafe, make tea, offer a listening ear, help with signposting, help with the processing of the food bank vouchers, give out the food parcels and generally provide a friendly welcoming environment.

No previous experience necessary as training and support will be given.

Volunteers needed for our ‘Soup Cellar’ project in Whitstable

We are looking for volunteers at our 'Soup Cellar' project in Whitstable.  If you could also help maintain the rota this would be great.

The 'Soup Cellar' serves free homemade soup every week and the session runs on a Wednesday between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm at the Baptist Church .

we also need volunteers to help cook the soup.  The volunteering role wouldn't be every week as we have a rota in place.
